[EnM/EnA] Eien no Manga Scanlations & Eien no Anime Translations

I love Lucky Star, and the quality of e-n-m's subs is wonderful. However, it's been over two months since the last release, and while I'm loathe to download Lucky Star from some other subbing group, I'm not sure I can wait much longer. Just wanted to say that.

Yeah, it would be nice to get a confirmation from the group that they are actually still working with it :(

This morning I downloaded a.f.k.'s versions of ep's 17-24, but after watching the first 20 seconds of the opening I decided I'd put that on hold and keep waiting for EnA, a.f.k.'s "quality" was horrible -_- Picture was all blurry and washed out, they didn't have a proper karaoke for the opening and typesetting was just ugly...

It's just too horrible when you're used to EnA's quality so I just hope they will release new eps sooner or later^^

with the news that ea had taken over ena and then promptly dropped ls i thought it was more like NASDAQ:HERTS i believe it was a wise decision for the new manglement to reconsider their product priorities and release a lucky pack

Umm, now the three last episodes are "released" but you really can't get them anywhere, why "release" them anyway if no-one can get their hands on them anyway :S

This is a lose-lose situation for me cuz if LS will be liceced around here, it will be maybe in three years or something -_-' (at the BEST anyway...)

So does ANYONE AT ALL have the last three episodes of Lucky Star by EnA? I'd like to see the end of the series now that it's done, I'd honestly buy the DVD's if they ever get licenced to Finland^^'

Well crap, that's quite a slap in the face to everyone who's been waiting for EnA's releases. Especially since I can't even find any official announcement about LS getting licensed, only rumors.

Guess I'm stuck with a.f.k. for ep22-24 unless EnA releases them somewhere other than a.scarywater.net. Hint hint.

I'm crying inside. Still, good thing I got up to 21 before it was licensed. I don't think the dvd's will ever reach Denmark

It was a bit hasty to pull the plug when there is no official announcement. :-/ Ah, well. I downloaded HDTV raws (1280x720) of the final 3 episodes and got both JEEB's and Guerrand's softsub scripts. I'll be comparing the two sets of subs, edit them and then mux them to the raws. Bingo! :)

Can you upload them as torrents and put a link here when you're done? It would be appreciated :)

it sux that ena had to pull their release because it was licensed... the quality was nice but I also liked their translation and wording the best... i dun think I can go to jeeb or guerrand for the last eps :(

I got the last three eps from Guerrand. The translation isn't up to e-n-a standards, but they're a damn sight better than A.F.K

Agreed. Guerrand's subs are way better than a.f.k.'s. but a few steps below EnA's translations. I'll be using the Guerrand subs.

i don't understand, why would they be such bastards to say they "released" 22-24 just to shutdown the torrents the next minute?

did NO ONE whatsoever download them?

I don't think they were ever put out into the "wild", so to speak. It seems like a case of having those episodes completed BUT having the announcement of the license come out right before they would have released said episodes. .__.

I think what happened was they had the release ready & started releasing it, & then they caught wind of the license news soon after and cancelled the torrents/dls.

Hopefully they decide to finish releasing it in some other way :)

Well, that would be good, but I somehow doubt about it... I mean they even removed the names of the files of the previews episodea in the scarywater tracker...

Oh and something more, for some reason in the anidb it has up to ep21 but it says that the project is still ongoing. Although most likely they forgot to update it...

Does anyone even know if these 22-24 episodes by EnA even exist? To me it seems unlikely they would be done with 3 eps in just three days after previous release, but what do I know...

Well that kinda sucks, having to pull down fresh releases without anyone having dowloaded them... :(

I was just wondering, could/would EnA release the subs alone? The raws, in even higher resolution are still around, and if the subs are in ASSA format, it's no problem to use them instead of hardsubs (at least not in windows, I still haven't found any decent VSFilter replacement for Linux...)

i agree though, it would be nice to at least get EnA's subs. i have preferred their translations as well as their video quality over the alternatives...but now it seems i'll never see the last 3 eps by them :(

No prob, MLx! I was delayed due to real life demands, but I should have them ready and uploaded in a few days. :) Yeah, the EnA scripts would be ideal.

I uploaded Episode 23 onto my server. I'll up the following 2 tomorrow. I don't have time to constantly seed torrents nowadays so I just may email MLx and Darth Arrow the direct download link to the files if they agree to help me seed the files afterwards. If you're willing, that is. ;) Let me know.

I can't seed 24/7, but I should be able to seed for good 17 hours a day.

That's fine, guys. I'm not expecting around-the-clock seeding. Just that the first few leechers can get the files quick enough to help expand the seeding roster in the beginning; like for just the first day of the torrent's life. I'll try and email you guys within a couple of hours with the link once I'm done uploading the last 2 episodes and post the torrent on AniRena or something. And thanks a bunch for the help. :)

Of course I help seeding! My upload isn't that great (1Mbits or 128KBytes per second :() But I will propably be able to seed 24/7 for a few days if nothing dramatic happens. My mail's on my name^^

We do not allow direct links to unaffiliated third party releases. You may link to the index site but not to the torrent download.

And if I have to delete any more double posts this thread will be locked. I've been nice enough to give you guys this place to discuss your unaffiliated release but I shouldn't have to spend 20 minutes a day cleaning up your double posts and putting replies back inside the thread where it belongs.

We don't release our scripts... in fact we don't even keep our own scripts. (Seriously, we've had a few close calls having to 'undelete' scripts when we had to reencode)

the files were never released...the simple fact that they even post they were released all over the frontpage/banner/etc shows how troll like they are becoming
